1. About Come Ride With Me
Come Ride With Me (“CRWM”) provides software that helps passengers request journeys from independent taxi and private-hire businesses.
CRWM does not itself provide passenger transport, employ the driver providing your journey, or operate the vehicle used for your journey.
The transport provider is the independent driver or business you select when making your request.
2. Booking requests
Submitting a journey request does not by itself create a confirmed booking.
Your booking becomes confirmed only when the selected driver or business accepts your request.
For private-hire journeys, the booking must be made and accepted before pickup.
3. Choosing your provider
You choose the independent driver or business to which your request is sent.
CRWM does not silently transfer your booking to another independent company.
If your selected company cannot accept your request, CRWM may show other available companies. You decide whether to send a new request to one of them.
4. Fares
Each independent company sets its own fares.
CRWM does not centrally set the fares charged by participating drivers or companies.
Where an estimated fare is displayed, it is calculated using the selected company’s own fare settings together with available route information.
An estimate is not a taximeter reading.
The applicable fare is the fare shown or confirmed for that booking by the selected transport provider.
5. Location information
If you choose “Use my location”, your device location may be used to help identify your pickup point.
You should check the displayed pickup address and correct it if necessary.
When an accepted driver is travelling to your pickup, the driver may temporarily share their location so that you can see their progress and an estimated arrival time.
Live driver location is used only for the relevant journey and stops when it is no longer required.
6. Driver and vehicle information
CRWM may display information about the driver, vehicle and licensing-verification status supplied for a participating business.
A “Licence verified” status means CRWM has reviewed the licensing evidence supplied to it.
CRWM does not issue taxi or private-hire licences and is not the relevant licensing authority.
7. Guest bookings and accounts
You may request a journey without creating a CRWM account unless the service specifically states otherwise.
You may optionally create an account to make repeat bookings easier and access features such as booking history, saved information and passkey login.
8. Problems with a journey
The independent transport provider is responsible for the actual journey, its driver, vehicle, service and fare.
Questions or complaints concerning the CRWM software or website should be directed to CRWM.
Questions about the actual transport service should normally be raised with the driver or company providing the journey.
9. Availability
CRWM does not guarantee that a driver will accept a request or that a particular company will have a vehicle available.
A journey is not confirmed until the selected provider accepts it.
10. Changes to these terms
CRWM may update these terms from time to time.
The current version and effective date must always be available on this page.
